Convert Text to Numbers

I have some data that I imported from Access. In Access,
it was formatted as a number, but in Excel it imported as
text. I can right-click on each cell and manually convert
it to a number, but as I have approximately 150 cells,
this would be extremely laborious. Is there a formula or
function that will do this for me?

Enter 1 in an empty cell, right click, Copy
Highlight the offending range,
Right click, Paste Special, check Multiply, OK
Delete the 1 from the empty cell.

Try: Edit > Copy an empty cell then select text, edit >
