Converted PDF file to Word

I have converted a PDF file to a Word.doc. It is a large graphic. I need to
use one small piece of it but do not know how to "cut it out" of the overall
picture. Can anyone make any suggestions? Thanks.

Go back to the program you used to convert the PDF to a Word document. Use
File, Save As to save as a image file vice a Word document file. If you are
using Acrobat 8 or 9, you should be able to convert to a JPEG {jpg etc} file
format.

Use a image editor to cut out what you want. Depending the the file size and
what you want to do, you should be able to use Paint if you do not have a
better image editing program.

Hello Don: Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestion but was unable to
"save to" a .jpeg file. Can you suggest a conversion program that will do
this for me?

You'd need the full Acrobat program for this, not the free Reader.

If you only have Reader, try this instead:

Import PDF content into PowerPoint

Catrinka, you could COPY the image you need and PASTE it into a ne
BLANK DOCUMENT in Word. Save that new document in HTML format. You wil
the find that Word's Toolbar will show PICTURE (as a tab) on this ne
document page. Click that and you will see the CROP tool on the righ
hand end of the PICTURE tool bar. Move the "crop" points (look phot
hinges on each corner) to select the portion of the image you need
