I can not open Publisher documents created in another
version of Publisher. I have office publisher 2000.

Is there a converter file or something I need to download?

thank you,

I'm not sure. I typically receive publisher documents
from other people. I will try to find out.

Thank you,

Which version are you trying to open your P2000 files in?

Is there a publisher 2005? Typically I receive publisher
documents from other people. The latest one I received
appears to be done in 2005.pub.

Thank you,

No, the latest is 2003.

It just dawned on me that you already said you have 2000. If you are getting
files done in 2002 or 2003, you will not be able to open them. You will have
to ask the person who created the file to do a Save As and change the file
type to a Pub 2000 file. The problems come in if they have used a feature
that was not available in that version.

I'd suggest upgrading to the latest version your system will support. 2003
if possible if you are going to be working on other people's files.
