converting documents to pdf

I'm trying to send my cv by e-mail. I need to change it to pdf or Word (.doc
) How can I do this ?

What does the recipient want? If pdf is needed then you will need to
aquire a pdf writer. (Not MS Office related) If Word .doc format then
something that produces Word documents should be used. (Word comes with
MS Office but you will need to buy that)
