You said table in the subject line and chart here. Are you working with a
chart/graph or with a table?
Which version of Word and which version of PPT?
How did you get the chart/table into PPT? Did you copy/paste or what?
If you right-click the chart/table on the slide, select Format/Object and
change the size on the size tab, does that not work? What about dragging the
corner handle of the object?
Finally, stop panicking. It's not helping to resolve your issue.
