I guess I don't quite understand. You want to copy the text and keep the
slide design, but you don't want to copy the slide design? In order to keep
the slide design, you have to copy it, too.
You can use Insert/Slides/From File as Michael suggested and check the box
to "keep source formatting." Or you can do the copy/paste or drag/drop thing
in slide sorter view. After you paste in the slides, you should see a paste
options button that lets you "keep source formatting."
If you choose "keep source formatting," it will copy the slide design so you
can have two slide designs in the same presentation.
If you don't want two slide designs, then choose "use template formatting"
instead of "keep source formatting."

Michael, I'm currently using 2003. I have two different slide designs I want
to keep both of them as they are but the I want them to have the same
contents. When I do as you say below it copies the slide design as well. I
just want to copy the text from one presentation to another and still mantain
the different slide designs.

Depends on your version of PowerPoint. If you want to retain the original look
(formatting etc) you will need 2002/2003. Here are a couple of ways you can do
this.
1. In your new presentation, use the Insert Slides from files function, or
2. Open both presentations in the Slide sorter view. Arrange your presentations
so that they are both visible, select all the slides in one presentation, right
click your presentation, and drag them to the new presentation. The right click
gives you the option menu to copy, move, or cancel the action.

How to copy all presentation contents from one slide design to another
without from one slide at a time?
