Copying and saving images from web pages

HELP If I try to copy an image from a web page and place it on a blank word
document I don't get anything

I even tried save as on the images and save them to a file and then try to
insert it as a picture in a word document but I get a box that say convert
file from ..... even though the file is a gif file. Also, if I try to just
open the file of the image that I saved it says no preview available.

Donna

When you installed Word, did you do the minimum installation? Because there
are choices you make when installing that may not include graphic converters
and filters if you don't do the full installation or select them. Try
reloading Word. I think that might help.
