Could someone send me an example of a complete Project file?

I would like to see an example of a complete project file, it does not have
be too complex. I down loaded the demo version and it is a little confusing.

Thanks

If that is confusing, you probably don't want a complete project file.
I know many people who post here have many hundreds or thousands of tasks in
their project files.

Hi

if you choose file / new there's a number of different templates included -
maybe pick one that relates to your industry / experience, i find it's
always helpful when you actually have some idea of the data .... if none of
these seem suitable email me direct (julied_ng at hcts dot net dot au) and
i'll be happy to send you a file i use in training which has only about 20
tasks.

if you're just starting out with Project i would suggest having a read of
Mike Glen's excellent series of tutorials at www.tinyurl.com/2xbhc and
signing up for a 2-3 days hands on project training course in your area.

There is a book I use in some of my classes that I can reccommend - MS
Project Step-by-Step from Microsoft Press - and that includes a CD of sample
files ranging from simple to fairly complex. More importantly, it is the
same project developed from the barest beginning through to completion and
the book explains how it gets from one point to the other. MS Project is
NOT an application one can learn by simply looking over some examples.
There are many considerations involved in using the software properly that
are not obvious just from looking at files. I strongly suggest you at least
buy a good tutorial or two and it's even better if you can sign up for some
formal training classes, not only training in MS Project but also training
in the principles and discipline of formal project management techniques.
