crash if not online?

My office 2003 crashes if I'm not online when I launch any
of the office 2003 applications. The error message says
something about my product ID and my IP address. Office
2003 in new from the store and I use MS xp.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you registered and activated the product? If not activate it and see if
you have the same error.
