I will be creating a resource pool for my team. Many of the resources will be
working on multiple project for which they will be allocated a specific
amount. Is it possible to record those allocations in the pool or specific
attached plan to track the that percentage of units to a specific project.
For example, Mike will be working on Projects X, Y and Z. He will be
allocated 10% to project x, 50% to project y and 40% to project Z. I would
like to be able to see by project how Mike tracks to the allocations of each
project. I know you can change the allocations of a resource by date range
but have not tried this scenario before...
I am currently using MS Project 2002 and will be migrating to 2003 later
this month. As an aside, should I be prepared for any anomolies when moving
from one version to another mid-project?
