Creating Custom Fields

I need to create a field for time in hours in Microsoft Projects. I do not
want to use the duration field and display 4hrs. I would like to create a
time field that would allow me to show start time (e.g. 1:00 PM) and finish
time (e.g. 2:00 PM). Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

Perhaps Gerard's response is the answer you were seeking but on the off
chance that you did NOT want to simply change the format of the existing
Start and Finish fields, two custom fields could be set up to show only
the Start and Finish times even though the standard Start and Finish
fields still show just the date.

In two custom text fields, use the following formulas:
Text1 = cstr(timevalue([start]))
and
Text2 = cstr(timevalue([finish])
