Critical path

Hello!
I am trying to display critical path that lists tasks and deliverables
by dates (the order in which they should occur rather than by
phases). I have purchased the WBS Chart Pro but again, it even then,
the tasks don't occur in order by dates but are organized by phases.
Is there a way I can change that setting?
Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hello zelks,

I assume you are asking to sort a project file by start date of tasks
rather than by the start date of a phase. Try Project > Sort > Sort By.
For the first sort order select Start and uncheck the option at the
bottom of the dialog "Keep outline structure".

You may also find it helpful to show multiple critical paths. That
option is enable on the Calculation tab of the Tools > Options dialog
box.

Hi -

Your requirement is to display the critical path by the order in which it
occurs (that is it should be timephased).

Option 1:
a. Change your view to Gantt Chart
b. Turn off the summary tasks, through Tools > Options ..., View tab.
c. Auto filter / Group the tasks by Critical

Option 2:
a. Change your view to Network Diagram
b. Right click and turn off the summary tasks in Layout dialog box
c. Auto filter / Group the tasks by Critical
