Current date in word filename

I'm using Word 2003 and would like to know if there is a way to automatically insert the current date in the word document file name.

You can set up an auto text or auto correct function to do it but it's not really worth it. It is just simpler to start typing the date and then when it pops up just hit enter. I would be nice to be able to hit "CTR D" like other programs but it hasn't been created by microsoft yet.
