Current Date updated in an MSWord Form

I have "Current Date" in several MSWord forms, but it is not updating with
the current date.
Is there a system setting that has to be changed?

Hi
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Print tab.
Under Printing options, do one of the following:
To update fields, select the Update fields check box.
To update linked information, select the Update links check box
This ensure that this info is updated before printing.

This field usually updates on Print rather than on Open. Try Print
Previewing the form and see if it is actually working.
