currently using outlook but would like to update software

I've been using my Outlook for calendar and whatnot, but my emails in outlook
are not allowing me to underline,bold,change font. So, I would like to
upgrade my Outlook software, but keep my address book and current saved
folders.

Can you help?

Outlook 2003 is the latest released version. Outlook 2007 is due in retail stores early next year.
