Custom Contours in Project 2007

I created a custom contour to be applied to a resource, but when I add
resources to the project I have to manually make the changes to the
custom countour so these resources have the same custom contour as the
one I created initally for the first resource. Is there a way to have
the custom work contour applied to all resources I add to the project
without having to do it manually? How can the additional resources
inherit the same work contour as the first resource?

No, there is no way to automatically apply a Contoured work pattern to each
resource assignments. The default behavior of Microsoft Project is to apply
the Flat contour to each task assignment initially. Once done, you can then
manually apply a Contoured work pattern. Hope this helps.
