Custom Fields

Diana

I would like to create a custom field that will give me a green light if
there is a specific resource name assigned or a red light if it is not.
Could someone please help me with this?

Hi Diana,

Insert a custom text field (Text1 for example.)
Customize the field and in the Formula (click the formula button) dialog box
enter:
[Resource Names]

Click OK to close the Formula dialog box.
In the Customize fields dialog box, click the Graphical Indicators button
and enter the following:
First Row:
Test for Text1: Contains
Value: Your resource's name
Graphic: Green icon of your choice

Second Row:
Test for Text1: Does not Contain
Value: Your resources name
Graphic: Red icon of your choice.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
