5 win2k3 domain controllers (4 running R2, 1 running SP1), 2 in 1 site
and the other 3 in individual sites all connected with T1 connections.
I created a policy a while ago to redirect the My Documents folder on
laptops as well as another policy for desktops.
I updated the policy on the PDCEmulator to change the location of the
My Documents folder to move it into our DFS root from a standalone
folder. However, the policy didn't replicate to the other 4 domain
controllers over 3 days. I noticed ntfrs log errors on the PDCE
because of Jrnl_Wrap_Errors. I edited the registry to allow automatic
journal wrap correction and restarted the NTFRS and that resolved the
problem for 2 of the other 4 DCs.
My problem is that I am still getting version mismatch errors for these
2 policies when running gpotool.exe for the other 2 dcs, but am not
getting any replication errors on those two servers. The version of
the sysvol version is different from the DS version. I have forced
replication several times and verified that each directory partition
has been replicated successfully using Replmon.exe.
I have been reading about dcgpofix.exe but that appears to only work
for default domain policy and default domain controller policy. How
can I verify replication of the DS and/or force replication of the DS
to catchup with the sysvol?
