Custom list for filters

GVarner

This seems like a very basic function, but I can't find how to customize the
dropdown filter list so it only shows the filters I've created (large
project). The organizer shows just the ones I created on the open file's
side, but in use, the list contains a ton of unnecessary filters (basically
all of them).

The need for only showing my created filters is while in the Gantt Chart view.

How can i do this?

Thanks.

Thansk, Jan...but the filters I don't want showing ALL have unchecked "Show

Hi G,

I must admit I had to dig a little deeper.
Indeed, Show in Menu only influences the appearance of the filter in the
Filtered For... submenu and not in the little dropdown window.

The only alternative seems to be to delete them from the global (keep a
backup somewhere, or first copy them into a backup mpp file) through the
Organizer.

Hope this helps,

Thanks, I'll try that.
