Custom Show

John Felan

I have a presentation that has a number of Hyperlinked Custom Shows in it.

I have all of the slides for the Main Show (which is named as one of the
Custom Shows) at the beginning of the slide layout and the slides for the
various other Custom Shows are located at the end of the slide layout.

Everything works fine, hyperlinking from objects in the Main Show to the
other Shows, and they all return successfully to the Main Show on cue.

But when the Main Show finishes it continues to play slides from the other
Custom Shows even though those slides are not selected for the Main Show.

the slides after the link page.

The non-advancing slide is a slide where the transition settings

John,

The trick is to only have one "main show".

The main show links out to either custom shows or individual powerpoint
files. When each show or presentation has finished control returns to the
main show. That way the maximum number of shows open at any one time is 2.

For a powerpoint menu tutorial on creating and jumping to other shows see
http://www.powerpointbackgrounds.com/powerpointmenu.htm

Method 1 is "custom shows"
Method 2 is for "individual powerpoint files"
