Customize "Display as" Field

Is there a way to have the "Display as" field automatically populate with the
company name of my contact or have it left blank if I don't enter anything in
the "Company" field? I know I can manually type in the company name in the
"Display as" field but I want to save myself some work. Plus I can't get
that field to blank out. If I don't override it with something Outlook
insists on populating the field with the full name followed by the email
address.

Mary,

The Display As field can be dynamically populated field from the NK2
(autocomplete file). If the entry is a dynamic one, you can't change it.
