In Excel 2003, the "Paste Special" option is almost always
available on a right-click context menu. However, I can't find a way in Word
2003 to emulate the same behavior. I've mapped Paste Special to a keyboard
sequence, but I'd really rather have it on the right-click menu. I am
frequently bringing in images and other content to Word documents that I wish
to change format on, and the keyboard slows me way down.
But that brings me to a larger question. Is it possible to customize the
items that appear in the right-click menu in Word (or, in Office 2003 in
general)? I can think of a few other things I'd like to add to the
right-click menu. And, if it's possible, how do you do it?
I've seen other applications add their handles to this menu, but I couldn't
find a darned thing in the Microsoft KB or in Google about actually doing
this customization.
Thanks much to anyone who knows the answer, positive or negative!
