Cut and Paste Problems

I'm trying to cut from one Publisher file and paste into another and
Publisher 2003 won't allow me to do it. The Paste option is greyed out. I've
also had problems where the text I've copied isn't pasted but the previous
text I've copied is.

Open the Office clipboard, (edit menu), use copy rather than cut. Do the copied
items show up now?

Yep! That works. They show up on the clipboard and I jusy have to click on
hem to get them to paste. And I retyped a whole page last week because it
wouldn't paste (I had been copying too, BTW).
