cyclic redundancy check

Computer locked up and I had to press and hold the power button to shut
computer off. When it rebooted my Outlook 2003 is not loading my calendar,
notes, contacts, etc. Outlook itself is opening but I do not have any of my
information.
I tried to run the Inbox Repair Tool but keep getting this message “An
unexpected error prevented access to this file. Use Scandisk to check the
disk for errors, and then try using the Inbox Repair Tool again.â€
I run the scandisk (chkdsk /f) and it does not show any problems.
Try to run Inbox Repair Tool again and it gives me the same message.
I open Outlook and go to file open and try to open my “outlook.pst†file and
it gives me this message “The file C:\Documents and Settings\Main\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst could not be
accessed. Data error (cyclic redundancy check)â€

Any ideas?

Went to http://www.howto-outlook.com/faqcrcerror.htm
and followed instructions. No erors found running chkdsk /f. Ran the Inbox
Repair Tool again and received this message "An unexpected error prevented
access to this file. Use ScanDisk to check the disk for errors, and then try
using the Inbox Repair Tool again."
