.dat files in outlook

After the last auto update from MS my outlook is
converting attachments, both image and word files,
to .dat files. Can find the problem and can't get a
response from Microsoft.

Anybody have teh same problem? Thanks

Presuming you mean recipients see this, and not that you do, change your
message format to Plain Text or HTML.
