Hi, I am trying to install a new version of Office 2003 and my laptop has an
old oem version of Word 2000. I cannot find the original cd which came with
my laptop, and therefore the new Office 2003 cannot uninstall and remove Word
2000. Any idea of how/where I can get this file to remove this software from
my system??? I have been trying many different things all weekend, all to no
avail. I have a friend's copy of Word 2000, but my system says it is not the
correct file.

I understand needing valid cds for installing, I can't understand needing a
cd to uninstall...

Any help would be appreciated.
