Databases for tracking work and task completion

I need to know how to create a database that will track task from 10
different sections of my office. I would like it to use a drop down for
various task assigned to the section, percent complete, and worker assigned
to task, start/complete dates, and printable reports. My company currently
uses XP professional office.
