De-encrypt a word 2003 file

Hi

My computer chrashed last week and I reinstalled Win XP and Office 2003
When I now try to open up a encrypted word 2003 document I get a failure
notice
that I don't have access to the file.
I used the encryption tool from the properties tab for files.

How can I solve this issue?

You may need to take ownership of the file first due to having reloaded
Windows XP.See Windows "Help and Support" search on "take ownership" for
the link to the procedure.
