default date

I have a form that has 2 fields that default to current date
but on a computer the field doesn't show the date it shows
#NAME? any ideals why

#NAME usually means that the controlsource for the field is not in the
recordsource for the form. Start by opening your form, selecting the problem
control, open properties, go to the Data tab and see what is there for the
controlsource property.
