Ia there a way to change the default "new" format for both a new
presentation and inserted pages from the current form having two text
blocks to a blank format having no predefined test blocks?

Thanks!

Optiker,

You cannot change this 'default'

Your best bet is to create one blank layout page.

Then Insert > duplicate slides

TAJ...That's what I was expecting. Your workaround sounds like the best
bet. I already use a template for starters for most of what I do, but
hadn't thought about Insert > Duplicatte Slides. Will try it.

Thanks!
