Default Start Time

I have created a new calendar and change the working times to 07:30-16:30. I
have allocated this as the project calendar and assigned to to the Gantt
chart. I have also set the default start time and end time to reflect these
times. Then why is it the the Gantt chart shows tasks begining at 8am and
when calculating work in only calculates 7.5 hours?

Perhaps the Project start date was originally at 8:00 AM?
This would push tasks over a half hour...

I think you are right. The original default start time is 8am. even when I
change this (tools /options) to 07:30, the original start time remains and
all tasks begin at 8 am dispite creating a new calendar with 7:30 start time
and updating the default start time. The only way to change this seems to be
change the default start / end times and click set as default then create a
new project.
