Deleted then saved .. can i get it back ????

as above, i have deleted a large portion of my thesis then saved it
(DOH!!!!)..
is there any way i can get it back ??

i need to hand it in tomorrow !!!!

any help would be great ..

btw... it's word (office 2003) with XP home

Go to "File", "Versions". That's where you would have a copy of what you
deleted. Nothing there? No backup copy? OUCH!

Probably useless and too late but...

If you have set Word to "Always backup" and only saved the mutilated
thesis once, you can find a "thesis.wbk" file with your thesis. That's
the backup, ie. the previously saved version.

If you saved it on a Novell Netware server, you may be able to salvage
your file (Netware keeps multiple generations of a file, until the
storage space is needed by other docs or it is purged). If you don't
have salvage rights ("file create" rights), see the system administrator.
