Deleting Delegated Task from Resource View

I create a project plan in Project Client & tasks and
assigned some of these tasks to resources. Since then I
have deleted some of those tasks, yet they still show up
in the resource's task view. These tasks had no work
assessed against them.

The resource, using Project Web Access, cannot delete,
accept, reject that task, they can only hide it from
view. Is there anyway to delete that task so that it does
not show up?

Second, I have a task under a project in Web Access that I
created but did not forward to my manager to approve.
That task now needs to be deleted. Again, I cannot seem to
do so, nor can I forward the task so it can be rejected &
removed. Is there anyway to delete that task so that it
does not show up?

Deleted tasks assignments can be hidden but cannot be deleted from the
user's timesheet. Therefore, you will need to teach your team members how
to use the Hide button. Also, you should hide the proposed task from your
own timesheet as well. Hope this helps.
