Desperatly seeking help automatic email

Hi
I desperatly need help in setting up the automated away
email response to people writing to me whilst I am away. I
really cannot understand what I am supposed to do.

My email comes through my website hosting company but you
do not get the option for this automatic reply when
opening a pop email it has to come through a microsoft
exchange server. Do I need to register or buy anything?

I really need this service please HELP!!!!
