Different Booklet Format

Using Windows XP and Office 2007

Trying to print a booklet that is on a portrait orientation 8 1/2 by 11
sheet of paper that is folded in half from top to bottom. The resulting
booklet would open from the bottom rather than from the left like a normal
booklet. It would be like a greeting card that has a top and a bottom on
the inside rather than a left and a right. Hope I'm explaining this
correctly.

Anyhow, cannot seem to get a page set up that works correctly. Any
suggestions???

Publisher only supports left-to-right booklets, not top-to-bottom
booklets. Top-to-bottom booklets similar to tent cards, but I don't
think tent card handles the pagination in the same way that the booklet
option does. You could design on a tent card, then Select all > Group >
Rotate 90° and change the page layout to a normal Booklet layout (and
then ungroup).

Thanks, Ed. That's similar to the way we ended up handling it, but I was
hoping there would be a top-to-bottom booklet option that would allow easy
page layout.

The problem with using the tent card setup it doesn't print correctly; i.e.,
page 1 is not next to the back cover. You would also have to rotate all the even
pages 180 degrees.

Actually, I think I may have found the answer. There is a top fold
greeting card that seems to be working just fine. I've just tried a sample
project, and I think I can make this work.

You maybe able to get it to work if you are patient and you have only four
pages. Page four will have to be rotated 180 degrees.
You cannot paginate this setup if you have more than 4 pages, nor can you view a
two page spread.
