Different %-Complete Reported Between Timesheet & Project...

Hello,

I'm running into an issue with reporting time from my timesheet in my
Outlook Addin.

There is a task that I have assigned that has 16hrs baseline. I have
assigned 8hours yesterday and 2 hours today on the task, bringing the total
to 10. I have Specified "Remaining Work" to 4hours. I saved the work to
Project Server and have submitted it to the PM (which is me).

I accepted the updates from the timesheet and updated the project in Project
2007. However, the task now shows 13hours worked and 100% complete.

How on earth does that happen? :|

I have deleted the task and tried to reclaim the proper state with the same
results. Is there something horribly obvious about this process that I'm
overlooking?

OK.

Getting my feet under me here.

It looks like if you save a Baseline, and you add more tasks after the
Baseline was created, you're supposed to Set the Baseline for the new tasks.
Is this correct? Otherwise things get FUBAR'd.

I went ahead and set the Baseline to the new tasks that I added and that
seemed to restore expected times. Whew.

I just got my "book" in today and I do see a section related to Change
Control. Guess I should read that before posting on here. Oops. ;)
