Disable editing

I want to be able to prevent anyone from editing a word document that I save.
I don't even want them to have to ability to save the document - on their
drive - to edit. Protecting a document or saving with a password or read
only can allow a person to Save As. You just make your changes and save it
to your drive as another name. Can this be done?

Once you let anybody else have access to the document, you have basically
relinquished control over it. They can always re-type it.
