disappearing cursor

I am using FP 2003. When I go to edit a page, the "|" disappears. I've
applied all the updates and have used the Repair function twice, but still
can't figure it out.

Carl,

I note no one has offered a solution. The same thing is happening to me but
my graphics also disappear when I click inside the page frame. Did you solve
your problem??? If so, will you share the solution?

Disappears totally??

Try holding the shift key and then press the up or down arrow.
The cursor location should then be highlighted.
