Disappearing Fonts

All of a sudden I cannot change fonts. When I try to
change font from the toolbar, there is no drop down menu
of fonts, although when I check my Fonts folder under
Control Panel, all the fonts are there. Should I reload
all the fonts? If so, how? Many thanks.
