Discussion Tool Data Issue

This is using XP, Groove 2007, Discussion Tool (DT) is 3.1

I was changing a category in topic in a DT, Groove acted like it froze.
After about 2 minutes it came back with a error 54 something about not being
able to change a data field. When I checked the topic and reponses to that
topic had disappeared on this one computer. However some of the response
were still unread, and even though all other elements are now marked read, I
still have the unread flags in the tool bar. These elements are still on
other computers using the same workspace, so it seems to be only the data on
this one computer that is damaged. What is the best way to proceed?

Hi,

Discussion tool has been replaced with forms customizable discussion tool in
Groove 2007. How do you move towards to Groove 2007? update or new installed?
May be you should open options -> preferences -> option, at the bottom, clear
the mark of "workspace restriction" to see if it solve the problem.

By the way, are you using IE7? There'are some unexpectable problem running
Groove under IE7, mostly related to form tools. I would like you to roll back
to IE6 to see if it has any effort on this issue.

As the workspace is fine on other computers, you can delete the workspace
from this computer and try to download it again from another computer to see
if it works.
