Display Active Resources Only?

S

I am running Project 2003 NOT on Project Server. Can I tell Project to only
show active resources in the resource dropdown? How do I identify a resource
as inactive?

Also, how do I define the display order of resources?

Shawn,

The Active/inactive setting for resources is managed by the server. So, if
you are not connected on a Project Server, this setting is greyed out in the
Resource Information dialog.
But you can create your own setting : insert a custom Flag(x) field in the
Resource sheet. Rename it as "Active" for ex.
Then create a filter : Project / Filtered for / More filters / New... which
will test on this field = Yes.
In the Assign Resource dialog, you can activate this filter.

Hope ths helps,
