I have forgotten how to do this. I did it years ago a another company then
did not need the action. If any one knows, please let me know, Thanks

Senile,
Well, go back to that company and find out how you did it....... :)

OK, enough silliness. First select the summary line and go to
Project/Task Information/General tab. Make sure the option to "show
rolled up Gantt bars" is checked. Whether you uncheck the "hide task
bar" option is up to you - unchecking it will probably make the
rolled-up milestones easier to see. Then select the milestone tasks you
want displayed on the summary line and go through a similar process as
above to roll up the milestones.

Hope this helps.

Hi SM,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

In Task Information, General tab, select Roll up Gantt bar to summary.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

A play with format bar styles should put you on the right track.
