do i have to run windows office 2003 server online

windows office 2003 server

i have recently bought a laptop and i am trying to install windows office
2003 server
but it wants me to go on line when i am installing this program,is this
correct do i need to run this when online to get software additions from
microsoft.

There is no such beast as Windows Office Server. Please tell us exactly
what program you are using.

After furious head scratching, windows office 2003 server asked:
