Document to picture?

I edit a publication using Word 2003 and must include some material
furnished by others who used Word. I have my document's page setup in a
fixed format. The material I must use arrives in various page setups. It
usually blows my setup format and I spend MUCH time trying to correct the
problem. Is there a way to easily convert their documents which used
various setups into say a jpg photo format? I know that I can print their
inputs and scan them as a photo but there is a not insignificant loss of
quality in doing that.

If you really need a facsimile of what is submitted (for ads, for example),
then yes, you could use some sort of screen capture to get that. If it's
just text, strip the incoming formatting and apply your own.
