does not close properly

My Microsoft Outlook 2003 program will not close properly.
Whenever I try to close it the window goes away but it
still runs so that whenever I click on the icon on my
desktop it will not open. What do I do to fix that?

Maybe you have to kill its process VIA the windows task manager.:)
