Last night about 10pm, I started getting duplicates on all my incoming emails. I have made no changes so I am wondering if someone could point me in the correct direction to correct this problem?
click on 'tools', 'options', 'mail setup', 'send/receive' in the middle. make sure 'all accounts' is highlighted blue then click the edit button. on the left, highlight the account and uncheck 'receive mail items'. backout by clicking ok, then close, then ok.
this solved my getting double emails, should solve yours.
Thanks Randy! I did what you suggested and then sent myself a TEST email. It seems to have corrected the problem.
It doesn't make sense to me that if you uncheck 'receive mail items' that I would still receive any mail from that account. Any explanation????
Can't explain that. I set my wife's email(on her Windows logon) up the same as mine and she doesn't have any problems.
