Downgrade from Outlook 2003 to Outlook XP

Eric Gnacadja

Hi,

I have tested Outlook 2003 and could use my Outlook XP pst files.
Now I have to downgrade back to Outlook XP and want to know if there is any
know issue about the backward compatibilty of the pst files.

Regards,

Eric

If you created a new PST file in Outlook 2003 it will be in UNICODE format
and not compatible with Outlook 2002. You would need to create an "Outlook
97-2000" PST file in Outlook 2003 and copy your data into it for reuse with
Outlook 2002.

If you simply used your old PST file in Outlook 2003, it would not have been
converted.
