download Office 2007 error

I tried to download Office Professional 2007, it was taking 4 hours so I
canceled it which took another 2 hours. I tried to download again, had to
reload Office 2003 and now I just get a message trying to update when I turn
on my computer. And nothing happens. When I put the cd in again to download
Office 2007, it says I already have it. Help!!!!

I'm assuming that when you say "download" you mean "install".

Can you be a little more specfic about what "I just get a message trying to
update when I turn on my computer. And nothing happens." means?

Does office open? If not what happens when it fails? You see something when
you turn on your computer that says trying to update? Where do you see that?
Does it come up by itself?
