Downloading mail error

Please can somebody help cos this is driving me mad!

I had my email accounts set up in Outlook Express (Version
6 I think) but then got the MS Blaster virus so ended up
wiping everything from my computer and starting again. Now
I have setup the email account again but when clicking the
Send/Receive button, it says 'Receiving List of Emails,
Disconnecting' and it doesn't download all of the emails
on the server - I checked a few hours before on the server
itself and there were 9 emails on there - Outlook only
downloaded 2. THen when I went back onto the server, all
of the emails had disappeared! I have spoken to the host
company and they say everything is fine of their side and
it's a problem with my Outlook, but I can't find out what
the problem is!

Please can anybody shed some light on this for me?

Thank you,

Jodie

This newsgroup is for support of Outlook
97/98/2000/2002/2003 from the Office suite of products. Outlook
Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.

For help with your OE questions, try an OE newsgroup such as
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress (for OE 6), or
an OE help website such as http://insideOE.tomsterdam.com. If you're
accessing the Microsoft newsgroups through the MS Product Support
Services "Community Newsgroups" web interface, click
http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?icp=InternetExplorer
to get to the Internet Explorer groups, then click the plus sign next to
your version of IE to see the link to the Outlook Express group for that
version number. Good luck!
