Dragging Link out of e-mail

In outlook 2000/xp one could embed a link to a server
file and the user could L/Click and drag it to their
desktop to create a shortcut. How do you enable this
feature within outlook 2003?

Not getting an error, was able to get it to work once,
now checking on the original e-mail that gave the problem.

Doesn't it work for just that message or all of them? Again; text based link
like www.sparnaaij.net?

Does it work when you drag and drop out of OE?
